Quasar Holland was founded by Teun van Gammeren in 1992. We are located in Giessen, Netherlands, where you find our showroom, offices and our own production hall, because we manufacture every void chandelier and all our other lighting ourselves. Our company was launched internationally at the International Lighting Exhibition in Milan, Italy, also in 1992. This exhibition called Euroluce is held biennially and it is the place where the most innovative solutions in the field of light for interiors and exteriors are presented. You may wonder about our company name. Quasar, in short, means ‘a rising star’. This is what we aim to be every day: rise in the international field of high-end lighting and let our lighting designs shine and sparkle all over the world. We have been successful by becoming a serious world player and our export accounts for 85% these days.
