Quasar Holland was founded in 1992 by Teun van Gammeren. He launched our company internationally a highly regarded lighting exhibition Euroluce in Milan, Italy, that same year. Ever since the start we have made it a company key point to collaborate with world famous designers, who are renowned for their creativity. Each designer creates unique and timeless lighting designs, such as the modern chandelier. Over the years, we have become a serious world player within the international high-end lighting market, with an export of 85% turnover.
A few examples of a modern chandelier at Quasar Holland are the Mira Chandelier, the Spectre Chandelier, the Spy Chandelier, the Noblis Chandelier and the Julia Chandelier. Each modern chandelier can be mixed and matched with table lamps, floor lamps and wall lamps. We create harmony and the perfect ambiance everywhere.
Modern chandelier from own production hall
Quasar Holland is located in Giessen, Netherlands. You find our offices there and our own production hall, in which we manufacture all our lighting ourselves. To keep our collection strong and growing, we add new models to it every year. In Giessen you also find our showroom. Recently, we have set up our Quasar Lab. Second generation Arjens van Gammeren and his brother John say: “Our Quasar Lab is a workplace for our designers, our employees and others who are engaged in conceiving, designing and developing new products or objects. People work together to solve design problems. In the Lab, as we like to say, creativity meets technology and experience meets innovation. We work with 3D modelling software, not only for designing, but also for improving our products.” Working with LED is one of the innovations that we use for more than a decade now.
