In the spotlight: Manon

When a design is established, smart brains and working hands are needed to bring a design to life. Without them no radiant collection. Meet the power behind Quasar’s creative collection.

Manon recently started at Quasar and we asked her a few questions so we could introduce her.

What is your position at Quasar?

I am an assembly worker.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I would descibe myself as social, persevering and creative.

How do you prefer to start your working day?

With a cup of hot chocolate and by listening to a podcast.

Which Quasar design would you like to have in your living room?

The Cosmos, because I make those myself.

What work are you most proud of?

That has to be a black brass 180 Universe, which was tricky to make, but we succeeded.

For what can we turn on the light for you at night?

Chicken Nuggets and binge watching Crime Scene Investigation.

What is your hidden talent?

I am very good at working with my hands. I make things toghether with my dad all the time!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Hair dresser, which I in fact did for a while until I came across this job at Quasar.

What is the biggest blunder you ever made on the job?

Finding out you made the wrong size lamp and you have to start over… While I was almost done.

What is your favorite song while working?

Cold Heart by Elton John and Dua Lipa.

Welcome to Quasar, Manon!
