We started our company with an international launch by our founder Teun van Gammeren in Milan, Italy, in 1992. Euroluce is the famous International Lighting Exhibition, held biennially. The most innovative solutions in the field of light for interiors and exteriors are presented at this exhibition and it is recognized as the global benchmark lighting exhibition. To this day we are still a family owned and operated company, located in the centre of Netherlands, Giessen. You find our offices there and also our own production hall, where we manufacture all our lighting hospitality.
Lighting hospitality for multiple applications
Quasar Holland has a large collection of lighting hospitality; you find ceiling lamps, chandeliers, floor lamps, suspended lamps, suspension lamps, table lamps and wall lamps. To keep our collection strong, we add completely new models to it every year. We make it a main point to work together with world famous designers from Netherlands and abroad. They make sure our lighting hospitality stays unique and contemporary. And as we said, all our models can be fully tailor made. In the beginning, we offered mainly cast metal lighting designs, available in three finishes: raw aluminium, polished aluminium and bronze. Now Quasar Holland offers many more finishes, we have added more colours and, for instance, brass and copper. All lighting hospitality fits into the categories classic, timeless or modern ambience. Our clients choose the size, colour and finish of their preference. For more than a decade now, Quasar Holland has been working with LED (light-emitting diode). Almost all our models are equipped with the best LED quality for the simple reasons that LED is durable, energy efficient and cost effective. Famous designers for hospitality lighting
To make our hospitality lighting models stand out and shine brightly like a star, Quasar Holland only works with world famous national and international designers. Each of these designers are well known for their creativity, making unique, beautiful hospitality lighting. Their creations contribute to the right atmosphere in your hotel, like in the lobby, the dining room and the hotel rooms, in your restaurant, pub, trendy night club or cosy diner. With new models each year, you don’t have to be afraid your guests will run into the same hospitality lighting in other places. We are proud to state that our hospitality lighting is recognised as ‘a Quasar’ these days. Our hospitality lighting can be specified as timeless, making it a long lasting investment in your company. All our models can be found together in one great collection, as categorizing would not do them justice.
Various lighting hospitality
In the beginning years, our company’s lighting collection consisted mostly of cast metal designs. The metal designs were available in three finishes: raw aluminium, polished aluminium and bronze. Each of the finishes fitted in the three main categories classic, timeless and modern ambience. During the past years, we have worked hard on developing our collection, realizing more finishes and other possibilities with the fixtures. This resulted in many more options for our clients. Our ceiling lamps, floor lamps, table lamps, wall lamps, chandeliers and suspension lamps can all be customized according to your preferences and requirements. Once you have chosen your model, you can choose the finish, size and colour. Because all hospitality lighting is manufactured in our own production hall, we can keep a keen eye on the whole process and intervene if necessary.
LED installed in hospitality lighting
Quasar Holland has been working with LED (light-emitting diode) for more than ten years now, for the simple reasons that LED is durable, energy efficient and cost effective. Generally an LED is built into a small transparent housing of a few millimetres in size, which also functions as a lens. Almost all our models are equipped with high quality LED. By installing LED in our hospitality lighting, Quasar Holland delivers beautiful and practical lighting, but also works green, thus contributing to a better environment.

At present, our export accounts for 85% of turnover. To be able to maintain our position in the international high-end lighting market, Quasar Holland lives by a number of mottos or guidelines. For instance, we select the ultimate design, we search for the best materials and we feel responsible for the quality of our all our lighting.
